December 14, 2017 - On Thursday, December 7, Sierra Foothill Charter School students delighted family and friends with their Winter Program.

Band, violin, and guitar students performed under the guidance of music teacher Gail Vanderslik.
Advanced guitar students Tadd Sexton and Jaeyanna Bolar perform, "Hark."

The Glee Club performed, led by bus driver and musician Dan Croft.

Each classroom also presented performances.

The transitional kindergarten/kindergarten class played, "Jingle Bells," on the bells and drum, led by Vanderslik. They then sang "Little Snowflakes" led by their teacher Chelsea Stillwell.

The first and second graders played "Hot Cross Buns" on the recorder, again led by Vanderslik. They also sang "Winter Wiggles" under the direction of their teacher, Wendy Baumann.

Teena Starchman's third and fourth graders sang, "We're Flakes."

Erika Miranda's fifth and sixth graders sang, "Glo-Glo-Glorious."

Finally, Andrea Contreras' seventh and eighth graders performed, "Jingle Bells."
The multipurpose room was full and the audience was very appreciative.

The performances were followed by hot chocolate and cookies. SFCS extends a thank you Catheys Valley Chevron owner Paul Singh for donating close to 200 cookies, 180 hot chocolate packets, and all the paper products for the evening.

Students were very excited to share their performances. They were all fantastic!
