January 29, 2018 - Do you have a book lurking in the back of your head just waiting to be written or already in manuscript form that you’d love to share with the public or publish for friends and family? With today’s technology, books can be published in many formats from ebooks to the traditional printed page. It’s easy, once you know how.
The Mariposa Library will be offering help getting started with self-publishing using links from their website to PressBook and SelfE on-line resources during a free Authors’ Workshop on Saturday, February 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The program will take place in the Library’s community room. All ages and abilities are welcome. Registration is not required.
The workshop will consist of an interactive webinar taught by Emily Gooding of Bibliolabs.com. She will explain the basics of the websites and answer questions from participants. Library staff will also be available to give assistance.
