March 7, 2018 - Throughout the month of February, teachers and staff have been working with students on what it means to possess the core virtues of honesty and justice. On Friday, March 2, 2018 the entire school assembled. Wendy Baumann's first and second graders led the assembly with a song about honesty. Then, teachers talked about students who exemplify honesty and justice. They called up students one by one to be recognized and receive a certificate.
Sierra Foothill Charter School students honored for exemplifying honesty and justice were Valentin Telles-Trujillo, Lillan Engstrom, Izabella Wright, Brylee Bean, Addison Russell, Tyler Brown, Johann Hill-Zeck, Atticus Yu, and Rya Salonen.

There was also a grand prize drawing at the assembly. Students who go above and beyond expected behaviour receive a ticket from staff members as they are observed doing so throughout the month. Students can either take those tickets to the office and immediately choose something from the treasure chest or they can put their name in the jar for a grand prize drawing.
