The Mariposa VFW post, formed in 1946 after World War II, is named in honor and memory of Keith M. Bertken. Keith Bertken was a graduate of Mariposa County High School and was an Army Air Corps pilot who lost his life during the war. Bertken’s family donated many of his personal military memorabilia to the Post this year and many of those items are now on display in a specially constructed cabinet inside the hall. This is the first time this memorabilia has been available for public display, so don’t miss it at the dinner.
The post looks forward to seeing you at the dinner, honoring all veterans of the armed forces of the United States.
