Adults and children alike enjoyed themselves at SFCS's Fall Festival, held Sunday, October 26, at Catheys Valley Park. The event included a costume contest.
Here are some of the entrants for the first through third grade category. There were plenty of games to keep children entertained.
Barbara Milazzo hands a prize to a young game winner.
This young game contestant takes a chance and knocks at a spooky door.
There was also a women's nail driving contest. Chriss Moore, Chivonne Wilde, and Debbie Peters take a turn seeing who can hammer in two nails faster than the others.
Sheri Comstock stands with Caroline Wenger Korn outside the Spooky School House.
Cate Cannon was hard at work in the Blacksmith's Shop. She and her fellow blacksmiths showed attendees what is involved with the trade.
Mariposa Martial Arts Academy had an awesome booth and performed an amazing demonstration. Ruth Smiley and friends also led a very fun "Thriller" dance.
There were an amazing number of drawing prizes. There was also a silent auction, vendors and informational booths. SCOPE was on hand to fingerprint children and the Sheriff's Department handed out helmets.
Bounce houses helped keep children happy and occupied. There was plenty of food and drink and much good cheer among all attendees who enjoyed the beautiful, sunny afternoon, each other's company, and all that Fall Festival had to offer.
