July 27, 2018 - Ferguson Fire: Residents Advised to Avoid Hazards in Re-Populated Areas.  

For residents in re-populated zones, burned areas inside the fire line contain significant hazards.  

Residents are strongly advised not to enter the fire line or burned areas.

Examples of hazards include:

Burned and unstable trees

Hot stump holes

Hidden pits containing ash

Any of these hazards can result in serious injury and even death.

Firefighters will continue patrolling the fire line adjacent to repopulated zones.
