Students in Ms. Teena Starchman's third and fourth grade class at Sierra Foothill Charter School entered the 2014 Gateway Expressions Student Art and Poetry Contest sponsored by Yosemite National Park and the Ansel Adams Gallery. There were over 230 entries from numerous schools and communities.

Congratulations to the students in Ms. Starchman's class who won awards: Eva Smerber, Kaeli Sheffield, Malachi Shelton, Celianna Lee, and Tadd Sexton.

Their artwork was displayed in the Ansel Adams Gallery in the park. Some of the students were able to go with their parents to an open house and awards ceremony a few weekends ago.
