August 28, 2018 - By Heidi Massie - Foresta Preservation Association (FPA) Members: A reminder that our annual meeting and picnic is this Sunday (September 2, 2018)!

FPA members and guests:

A reminder that the FPA annual meeting and picnic is coming up on Labor Day weekend, Sunday, Sept. 2, and now we will be celebrating that Foresta is still with us! We are inviting the new Superintendent along with many fire fighting entities, NPS, County and Forest Service reps so that we can thank them for their work on the Ferguson fire and saving our homes - and feed them!

Please come and share in the celebration, and bring more main dishes and food to feed the hungry fire fighters still on duty. Details below.

We will also hold an election for FPA Board members. Four positions are up for election, with three incumbents - Molly Wood, Kathy Dollard and Cathy Chappell self-nominating for another two-year term, and one vacancy. Thanks to Lloyd Johnson for his two years of service on the Board.  

If you would like to run for a position on the board or nominate someone, please respond to me, Heidi, before the picnic or attend the 10am Board meeting on the 2nd, when we will finalize the slate of candidates.
