November 28, 2018 - The National Weather Service Hanford office reports a Winter Storm Warning is in effect from Wednesday evening through late Thursday night for the Tulare County mountains and the Sierra Nevada from Yosemite to Kings Canyon.

Severe winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH
LATE THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of over two
  feet expected above 7000 feet. Winds could gust as high as 50
  mph over the crest.

* WHERE...Tulare County Mountains and Sierra Nevada from
  Yosemite to Kings Canyon.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening through late Thursday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to
  impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning
  or evening commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage. If
  traveling into the Sierra Nevada, consider alternate plans.
  Remember to carry tire chains, extra food, water and clothing.
