Holiday Fun at the Library

December 4, 2018 - Make your own holiday decorations and gifts at Mariposa Library Green S.T.E.A.M. Makerspace workshops this month. Materials and instruction are free. All ages are welcome, but children aged 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult to all Library programs.

Registration is required for all workshops except dichroic glass jewelry.

Coming up:

  • Thursday, December 6 at 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    Create decorations and ornaments made from discarded books.
  • Saturday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon
    Make dichroic glass jewelry with Aubrey Simpson.
  • Thursday, December 20 at 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    Beginning sewing—repurpose a piece of clothing to make a small pillow or gift bag.
  • Thursday, December 27 at 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    Turn junk mail and other scrap paper into recycled paper art.

And don’t miss the monthly family movie on Wednesday, December 19 at 3:00 p.m. featuring the charming film “The 12 Dogs of Christmas.” A free bag of popcorn and special holiday gift are included.
