MLJC LogoDecember 17, 2018 - The Mother Lode Jewish Community to welcome in the New Year and invites you to join us for a Havdalah and Potluck Dinner & Movie Night, featuring The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob, on Saturday, January 5th at 5:30 p.m.  This casual and fun evening will take place at a member’s home in East Sonora.   

Later in the month there will be another gathering, a Tu B’Shvat Seder beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 20th in Copperopolis.  This “New Year of the Trees” festival will include a potluck lunch featuring the bounty of seasonal fruits and vegetables available here in the foothills and will also include a tree planting.
