Possible Wind Gusts up to 25 mph in Mariposa County today and tonight.

March 2, 2019 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a Wind Advisory is in effect for the Central San Joaquin Valley, as well as the Kern County Mountains until around Noon.

While strong winds will blow across the San Joaquin Valley during the pre-dawn and morning hours, the winds across Kern County will start later in the morning and continue through mid-day.

Downed trees, as well as power lines, are possible due to the strong winds. Wind gusts this strong can make driving difficult, particularly for high profile vehicles.
