Fish Fire burning on the Sierra National Forest, in the burn footprint of the 2014 French Fire

July 16, 2019 - Clovis, Calif. - At 4:17 P.M. on July 15, 2019 the Fish Fire was reported on the Bass Lake Ranger District of the Sierra National Forest. The Fish Fire is burning entirely inside the perimeter of the 2014 French Fire, within close proximity to the Fish Creek Campground. The fire is burning on the downhill side of the 4S81 road, above the San Joaquin River.
