The 28-year old, who shares his time between Oakhurst and Fresno, remains jailed following his arrest Tuesday night in Oakhurst.Buchholz, whose criminal past (dating back to 2009) includes burglary, grand theft and narcotics, is being held without bail.
Deputies were notified of the alleged assault at shortly before 7:00 P.M.
It is believed the assault took place in North Fork.
Sheriff Varney will not release information about the victim in order to protect the teenager’s identity. However, he will say, “What makes this case all the more egregious is that Buchholz knew his victim, and was able to win the trust of his victim, which we believe game him leverage to commit this heinous assault.”
