November 6, 2019 - The Madera County Sheriff's Office reports shortly after 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 the Madera County Communications Center received a call for service for a residential burglary in the 41000 block of Lilley Mountain Dr. in Coarsegold.
Madera County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Mollet and Deputy Pena responded to the scene and interviewed the victim who reported that around 3:00 a.m., he woke to find someone inside his home appearing to be burglarizing his property. The suspect left without harming the victim or removing anything from the residence.
The suspect is described as a white male adult, in his early 20’s with a slender build. He was seen wearing a ski type mask, and had a handgun.
The scene has been processed and evidence was collected.
Deputies are continuing to interview possible witnesses in the area.
