November 19, 2019 - The Mariposa County Department of Agriculture in conjunction with the University of California Cooperative Extension will be presenting its annual 2019 Winter Integrated Pest Management workshop on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at McCay Hall in Catheys Valley, California.

Are you interested in learning about California Department of Pesticide Regulation regarding laws & regulations pertaining to pesticide drift, pest control business headquarters inspections, annual registration and mandatory reporting, or the Farm Bill Programs to assist agricultural producers and land owners in Mariposa County and beyond, endangered species and pesticides, pest control in foothill orchards, and using fire for weed control and vegetation management, then come join us for this workshop.

If you need continuing education hours for your California State Department of Pesticide Regulation license or you’re Private Applicator Certification, 5 hours of DPR continuing education credits including 3.5 hours of laws & regulations have been approved.

On-site registration for the workshop will began at 8:00 am and the workshop will run from 8:45 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.

The cost for the workshop is $35 and includes snacks, lunch, and handout materials. Registration is required; please register by Monday, December 2, 2019.

Please be prepared to show photo identification for admittance to the workshop. Bring a chair cushion for your comfort.
