November 25, 2019 - The Madera County Sheriff's Office has provided a list of Sandbag and Warming Center locations and cold weather tips.
Emergency sand and sand bags are available for residents- see attached list. At all locations, you must provide proof of residence and bring your own shovels.
The County provides 10 bags per resident. If you need additional sand bags, you may purchase them at a local hardware store.
Please note- some locations do not have sandbags. Consult the attached list to verify where sand bags are available.
