November 27, 2019 - Mariposa, CA. - For the second year in a row, a tiny spice company, Miners Mix, located in the foothills of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains in the town of Mariposa has captured
the number one spot on Amazon for spice blends and rubs. The company’s Poultry Perfection Rub beat out all comers to gain the coveted best seller slot at the online giant Amazon.com. Last year Miners Mix set a record for sales leading up to the Thanksgiving Holiday, and this year they’ve shattered their own record.Miners Mix is a family owned and operated company specializing in gourmet rubs and spice blends, with an emphasis on outdoor cooking. But the grill or smoker are not the only platforms Miners Mix dominates during the fall. Hundreds of food enthusiasts turn to the company for help in preparing the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
The company has its own online presence at MinersMix.com, but the bulk of its sales come through Amazon.
“Amazon sales are always pretty fair,” said company owner Dave Mandeville, “But the explosion in sales last year caught the family by surprise. Last year sales peaked four days before Thanksgiving, but we’ve already blown those numbers away this year.”
Mandeville says that while the company’s “Poultry Perfection” rub is the holiday best seller, the company has a total of eight spice rubs and four spice blends.
With a few days to go before the holiday, Mandeville expects sales to continue to climb. Meanwhile the company is gearing up for the Christmas season. Mandeville says that their loyal customer base loves to give the rubs as gifts.
