November 27, 2019 - LEE VINING — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has closed the lower gate on Tioga Pass/State Route 120 West to the Yosemite National Park entrance gate today, Wednesday, November 27th at 11:00 am. This is in conjunction with the closure of Tioga Road through Yosemite National Park.

Tioga Pass is the first Sierra Nevada mountain pass to close for the season. Monitor Pass/State Route 89 and Sonora Pass/State Route 108 are currently closed due to a winter storm.

This is a seasonal pass closure.
