December 12, 2019 - The Mother Lode Jewish Community has a busy winter calendar of events.  The annual Chanukah party is on Saturday, December 28^th in Murphys.  Then on Saturday, January 18^th there will be a Havdalah and game night in Sonora. 

The Chanukah party is a joyous potluck affair, featuring latkes and other traditional holiday treats.   

There is no charge to attend either of these gatherings, however space is limited. The MLJC’s mission is to provide opportunities and events that nurture a vibrant and enduring Jewish identity, culture and community in the Mother Lode.  The group draws its members from Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa and Tuolumne counties.
