February 2, 2020 - The Madera County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) reports around 1:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 1, MCSO Deputy Vermeulen conducted a vehicle check in the 40000 block of Junction Dr. in Oakhurst. A records check determined the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Mariposa County. The driver of the vehicle, 57 year old David Martin, was found to have five outstanding no-bail warrants out of Mariposa County.
Martin was arrested and turned over to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office. A possession of stolen property report was written and forwarded to the Madera County District Attorney’s Office for charges to be filed. Martin remains in custody at the Mariposa County Adult Detention Facility.
