February 20, 2020 - Clovis, Calif. – The USDA Forest Service Sierra National Forest (SNF) is seeking public comments for the annual California Department of Parks and Recreation, Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division grant application.

The OHMVR application requests funding for off-highway vehicle related law enforcement. The 60-day grant application comment period begins Tuesday, March 3, 2020, and ends Monday, May 4, 2020.

The Sierra National Forest relies on partnerships and funding opportunities to continue providing safe and sustainable OHV recreation opportunities on public lands.  Any interested parties are encouraged to review the application and provide comments on the state website, or directly to the Forest Service. 

During the comment period, the grants will be available for public review on the State of California’s website at http://ohv.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=1164.  During the public review and comment period, public input can be submitted online using the State of California electronic forms.
