Residents Impacted by Creek Fire Evacuation Orders Will be Notified When Returning to Area is Safe
September 11, 2020 - -We have been fielding many questions from homeowners asking when they might be able to return to their properties in the areas closed off to public access due to the Creek Fire. This is obviously an understandable concern. However, it is taking a toll on our non-emergency phone lines.
To help reduce the call volume, we thought it would be easiest to distribute a mass message, which applies to everyone impacted by evacuation orders. Unfortunately, we are unable to allow any residents back into evacuated areas and do not have a time frame of when this will change. Fire crews continue to work hard to knock down the fire and make areas safe again.
We will make announcements through social media and traditional media (TV, Radio, Newspaper) as soon as things open back up. This will be a slow, incremental process. We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope to have good news for you soon. Thank you for your patience.
