October 23, 2020 - PG&E has notified the Madera County Sheriff's Office of a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) event that is expected to affect areas of eastern Madera County. This PSPS is anticipated to begin on Sunday afternoon (10/25/2020) and last through Tuesday (10/27/2020) evening or Wednesday (10/28/2020) morning.

The map and address checker should be updated and operational by 8pm this evening. PG&E will also be reaching out to customers who will be impacted with phone calls and text messages.

The Madera County Sheriff's Office is recommending residents in the eastern Madera County area to start preparing now for this event; updated information will be provided as it is received from PG&E.
