October 29, 2020 – Mariposa County Health and Human Services Public Health Branch has been notified of a positive COVID-19 case at a Mariposa County school. The individual attends Mariposa County High School, but their home residence is outside of Mariposa County. In addition to working with Mariposa County Unified School District, our team is also working with the county of residence to perform contact tracing. Our team is working hard to ensure the health and safety of our community.

This is a good reminder to us all that we are not isolated in Mariposa County and we must continue to stay vigilant to stop the spread of COVID-19. We all must continue to wash our hands, wear our masks, and watch our distance. It is also very important to stay home when you are sick and to avoid those who are sick.
