November 5, 2020 - Yosemite National Parks officials report the Tioga Road (continuation of Highway 120 through the park) and Glacier Point Road will temporarily close on Thursday, November 5, at 6:00 P.M. in anticipation of snow.
We will evaluate conditions on Monday for possible reopening. (Based on the forecast, we don't expect this to result in a closure for the winter.)
If you are visiting this weekend, expect rainy and/or snowy weather, and that means it's time to pack your tire chains (https://go.nps.gov/chains).
