Update 8:45 A.M.: Sierra National Forest Morning Update for the Creek Fire: 379,895 acres and 78% containment

November 17, 2020 - Suppression Repair continues. Dozer line: 340 miles total, 260 miles complete (76%). Hand line: 103 miles total, 77 miles complete (75%). Roads as line: 149 miles total, 119 miles complete (80%)

Personnel and equipment are currently working across private and public lands. Coordination between private, state, tribal, and federal managers is ongoing.

On Tuesday evening a cold front will make its way across the region. Rain and high elevation snow are possible Tuesday night and Wednesday.
