April 6, 2021 - Tuolumne County Sheriff, Bill Pooley, reports Tuolumne County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for leads and a suspect in connection with a homicide in La Grange over the weekend.

The deputies were called to a home on Highway 132 on Sunday afternoon for a report of a “murder”.

Two Mariposa County deputies were already on scene with the person who reported the crime.

Deputies arrived on scene and began a search of the property. They discovered a man’s body in a bedroom of the residence. The victim appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Deputies are in the early stages of the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the killing.
