Madera County Sheriff’s Office Issues Evacuation Warning for All Residents on Monarch Canyon Road and Ellerbrock Station Road Due to Fire in the Area

Update: An Evacuation Warning has been issued for All residents on Monarch Canyon Rd. and Ellerbrock Station Rd. under evacuation warning due to Fire.

There is a potential threat to life and property. Monitor the situation and be prepared to take action immediately.

Don’t wait for an evacuation order to leave if you feel threatened. Those who require additional time to evacuate, and those with pets and livestock should leave now.

WILDFIRE EVACUATION: Update 5:30 p.m.

The following road closures will be in effect until midnight:

Road 600 at Indian Rock Rd.

Road 600 at Eagle Drive.

Evacuation warnings to stay in effect until midnight as well, specifically in the Polk Ranch and Monarch Canyon areas.
