September 19, 2021 - Merced - The police have made an arrest in the August 23rd shooting case in Merced, California.
On September 18th, Merced Police officers developed information on the whereabouts of Julio Lucio. Lucio was alerted to the presence of officers and tried to flee from a residence in the 1000 block of W. 2nd Street. He was apprehended after a short foot chase.
Lucio was booked into custody at the Merced County Jail.
