October 5, 2021 - Merced – Merced Police Department officers responded to W. 28th and H Street, where a 57-year-old male was located after being shot for refusing to give up his bicycle. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his 20's with long curly hair, last seen running toward G St. Officers searched the area and located the gun in the middle of Bear Creek. The victim was transported to Modesto for treatment.
