October 27, 2021 - The National Weather Servvice Hanford Office reports a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for a portion of the San Joaquin Valley from Merced to Bakersfield.

Areas of visibility below one quarter of a mile and as low as a few hundred feet are possible in some locations between 2 AM and noon on Wednesday.

Be sure to drive slowly with low beams in dense fog.

  to Kern County, includes cities along the Highway 99 corridor.

* WHEN...From 2 AM tonight to noon PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Also includes, but not limited to, areas
  along Highways 41, 43, 46, 58, 59, 140, 152, 165, and 198.
