Each year, CMCAA distributes $69,673 in funding to Mariposa's community based organizations which operate programs that serve low-income individuals in the community. On June 23rd, at the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors meeting, shortly after 9:00 a.m., the Human Services Department will be discussing the Needs Assessment findings and the associated top needs identified by the CMCAA Board.
CMCAA is asking for community input during this process to ensure the top needs are identified correctly.
Currently, the top needs identified include (in no particular order):
- Employment Opportunities/Job Skills
- Low-Income/Affordable Housing
- Transportation
- Food Security
You may give your input in two ways:
1) Attend the Board of Supervisors Meeting to hear the presentation and give input (6/23/15 at 9:00 a.m.).
2) Read the attached Needs Assessment and give input via email to Janet Gass
