December 6, 2021 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations on State Route 49, 132 and 140 this week in Mariposa County.

Work is scheduled to be performed as follows:

• One-way traffic control from Black Creek Road to Bear Valley Road for crack seal operations beginning Monday, December 6, through Friday, December 10, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from the Madera/Mariposa County Line to Varain Road for pavement marker replacement beginning Sunday, December 5, through Friday, December 10, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

• One-way traffic control from the Madera/Mariposa County Line to Varain Road for guardrail work beginning Monday, December 6, through Friday, December 10, 2021, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.


Route 132

• Moving lane closures from the Stanislaus/Tuolumne County Line to Route 49, Coulterville, for pavement marker replacement beginning Monday, December 6, through Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


Route 140

• One-way traffic control from the beginning of the passing lane near Trower Road to Yaqui Gulch Road for tree work beginning Monday, December 6, through Friday, December 10, 2021, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5- to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
