January 2, 2022 - Merced - On Saturday, January 1, 2022, Officer Myles Richter initiated a traffic stop after a vehicle almost collided with him while on his way to a dispatched call for service.

The driver of the vehicle, Soula Saechao,23, displayed signs of impairment. A DUI investigation was conducted, and Mr. Saechao was arrested.

His vehicle was impounded and during inventory of the vehicle a firearm was located.

Saechao was booked into Merced County Jail for weapons violations and driving under the influence.
