January 10, 2022 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations on State Route 49 this week in Mariposa County.

caltranssignWork is scheduled to be performed as follows:

Route 49

• Single-lane closure from Moccasin Switchback Road to Bear Valley Road for shoulder work beginning Mondy, January 10, through Friday, January 14, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:0 p.m.

Route 132

• Moving lane closure from the Mariposa/Tuolumne County Line to Route 49 for pavement marker replacement beginning Monday, January 10, through Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Route 140

• One-way traffic control from Hummingbird Lane to Miller Road for tree work beginning Monday, January 10, through Friday, January 14, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from 3rd Street to Coakley Circle for curb, gutter and sidewalk work beginning Monday, January 10, through Friday, January 14, 2022, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
