January 31, 2022 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations on State Routes 49 and 140 this week in Mariposa County.

Route 49

• Single-lane closure at various locations from the Mariposa/Madera County Line to Route 140 for guardrail work beginning Monday, January 31, through Friday, February 4, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control at various locations from Marsh Flat Road to Bear Valley Road for shoulder work beginning Wednesday, February 2, through Friday, February 4, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Route 140

• One-way traffic control from Mariposa Creek to Coakley Circle for electrical work beginning Monday, January 31, through Friday, February 4, 2022, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

• Moving lane closure from Mount Bullion Cutoff to Crane Creek for sweeping beginning Monday, January 31, through Friday, February 4, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5- to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
