March 2, 2022 - The Merced County Sheriff's Office reports two additional arrests have been made regarding the September 19, 2021 homicide in Hilmar, CA. at the Hot Rod Diner.

The Merced County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau has arrested Dana Julien Hayes and Brittany Bettencourt, for accessory and conspiracy charges. It was determined that Dana and Brittany aided Brandy Bettencourt-Costa and Dominick Rufo in their evasion of law enforcement after the homicide occurred.
