March 15, 2022 - Merced, CA - The Merced County Sheriff’s Coroner Bureau has been able to properly identify the deceased child found during a search warrant of a residence in the 500 block of Barclay Way in the city of Merced.

The decedent has been identified as 8-year-old Sophia Mason from Hayward CA.
