March 29, 2022 - Merced – The Merced Police Department reports on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 10:37 P.M. the Merced police department received a call from a male victim (28) of a shooting who was being transported to the hospital.

 It was learned that he was driving in the area of East 11th St. & E St. when he was approached by several subjects. According to the victim the subjects then began firing at the direction of his vehicle.

The victim was struck and drove to the intersection of G St.. & West 11th St. where he flagged down a passerby who transported him to the hospital where he has been listed in stable condition.
