April 2, 2022 – Fire crews plan to conduct prescribed burning operations in the Crane Flat area on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Work will focus on a 100-acre unit east of the Crane Flat Lookout Road (reference attached map - unit C).

Ignitions are expected to occur over a couple days with work continuing through the week as crews monitor progress. There are no anticipated traffic delays, but smoke will be visible along the Big Oak Flat Road during active ignitions and will linger in the area for multiple days.
