October 14, 2022 - The MCHS Academic Boosters Club (ABC) was pleased to host its monthly Career Lunch at Mariposa County High School on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Beth Pratt, Regional Executive Director, California National Wildlife Federation, was the featured speaker. Thirty students attended to hear what Ms. Pratt had to say, get their questions answered, and to enjoy a lunch from Subway.
Thirty Mariposa County High School students gathered at lunch time to listen to Beth Pratt, Regional Executive Director, California National Wildlife Federation and get their questions answered. Career Lunches are hosted monthly by the MCHS Academic Boosters Club.
Two students' names were drawn to receive $10 gift cards, door prizes for attending the event.
Alyssa Leventhal and Natalee Marundee were this month's drawing winners. They received $10 gift certificates as door prizes.
ABC hosts the Career Lunches the second Thursday of each month. Students are informed through flyers and announcements and sign up in the Counseling Office.
Students enjoyed talking to Ms. Pratt for a few extra minutes before heading off to their next class.
ABC purchased this month's lunches from Subway. The club purchases lunches from a different local eatery each month.
MCHS Academic Boosters Club, Inc. (ABC) is a 501(c)3 organization with the mission of supplementing and enriching academic experiences and providing educational tools for Mariposa County High School students.
