November 5, 2022 - The Madera County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) reports on Friday, November 4, 2022 around 4:00 P.M., the Madera County Regional SWAT team was in the Indian Lakes area of Coarsegold assisting the Fresno Police Department in the apprehension of a wanted subject for an active murder case in their jurisdiction.

During the course of the incident, the suspect was located at Highway 41 and Meadow Ridge Road and taken into custody by law enforcement personnel.

Madera County Sheriff Tyson Pogue remarks, “We value the close working partnership of our local allied agencies, and are grateful for the efficient response to safely take this suspect into custody.”
