Peter Kampa, General Manager Lake Don Pedro Community Services District said, "FANTASTIC!" and "After 10 days of testing to determine how much water this new well could safely produce, our Hydrogeolgist has
confirmed a solid pumping rate of 125 gallons per minute! This means that we can expect this well to produce 180,000 gallons per day, safely for a period of six months if pumped continuously! This well, once construction is completed this fall and combined with the flow from the other two grant funded wells currently under construction, will ensure that the Don Pedro community water supply stays intact this winter and into 2016; even if the drought continues and the Lake McClure water level drops below our Barrett Cove pumps!"Mr. Kampa said. "Please take the time to come to the upcoming Board meeting and say Thank You to the Board. The meeting is scheduled for this Thursday, September 17 at 10:00 am at the Deerwood office on the corner of Ranchito and Merced Falls Rd."
