DON’T Be Fooled by Latest Scam! 

June 2, 2023 – Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that the Tulare County Sheriff’s Emergency Dispatch Center gets several calls a week regarding fraud and the latest phone scam is about jury duty.

The Sheriff’s Office will never call you and ask you to pay a fine over the phone or ask for any banking info or for payments by pre-paid cards for any reason.

Deputies do not serve arrest warrants over the phone. If there’s a warrant for your arrest, deputies will knock on your door. If someone calls you representing themselves as the Sheriff’s Office and asks for any kind of monetary payment, hang up the phone immediately.
