Update: Yosemite National Park Announces Mariposa Grove Prescribed Burn Postponed Until Fall of 2023

June 19, 2023 - Yosemite National Park officials announce the Mariposa Grove Road will be closed from June 20 at 6:00 P.M. to June 21 at noon (possibly later) due to yosemite fire prescribed fire graphic a prescribed burn.

Access to the beginning of the grove will be via foot on the Washburn Trail (four miles round trip with 500 feet of elevation change).
