August 24, 2023 – CHP is seeking information regarding a murder investigation on Highway 99 near Olive Avenue on June  12, 2022. 

On Sunday, June 12, 2022, Freddie Carrasco Jr. (pictured) was shot and killed while driving on southbound State Route 99 near Olive Avenue in the City of Fresno. The California Highway Patrol has new information regarding this murder and is conducting an active investigation into this new information. CHP is seeking the public's assistance with any information that may assist investigators with apprehending the person(s) responsible.
