August 31, 2023 – Merced County Sheriff's Office officials report that last week, the Merced County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s Enforcement Team, Code Enforcement Team, and Merced County Environmental Health Services served several search warrants for illegal marijuana grows around the county.

These warrants resulted in the eradication of 702 plants, 300 pounds of processed marijuana, 40 pounds of dried marijuana, and hundreds of marijuana products and edibles wrapped like candy. In addition, Deputies also took one firearm for safekeeping. Great job, by all involved!
