October 8, 2023 - Placer County Sheriff's Office officials report that early on Tuesday morning after 1:30 a.m., a Placer County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop on Athens Avenue, in unincorporated Lincoln. While the deputy was speaking to the driver, he observed a pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine in plain view inside the vehicle. Upon a search of the vehicle and of the suspect driver, the deputy located just over 37 grams of suspected methamphetamine and related paraphernalia, and $360 in cash.

An additional search of the vehicle was conducted by K-9 Ronin, who alerted on a firearm and ammunition inside the center console. The suspect driver, identified as 37-year-old Cassandra Mae Johnson of Roseville, was arrested for possession and transportation of a controlled substance for sale, driving under the influence, and carrying a concealed weapon inside a vehicle.
