North Auburn Burglary Case Solved 

November 10, 2023 - Placer County Sheriff's Office officials report that Property Detectives recently executed a search warrant at a property on Burnette Place in Grass Valley, leading to the recovery of items stolen during a recent burglary in north Auburn.

The suspect, Eric Stewart, from Grass Valley, was apprehended and is being held accountable for the initial burglary.

The stolen property included a LS tractor, Kawasaki mule, a motorcycle, and several power tools.  The total value of the recovered property is estimated at approximately $60,000, which has since been returned to the relieved victim.

This case highlights the incredible teamwork and collaboration between our dedicated patrol deputies and property crimes detectives. Their combined efforts, from the moment a crime is reported to the resolution of an investigation, are imperative in successfully recovering stolen property and returning it to the rightful owners.
